Developmental Evaluations |
Early identification of children with neurodevelopmental delays and disabilities is critical for their development. Dr. Julie assesses children between the ages of three and six years in the areas of cognition, communication, social/emotional skills, adaptive behaviors, and sensory/motor skills. Information regarding your child's developmental profile and recommendations for education and intervention services are provided. Dr. Julie is trained to administer the ADOS-II and uses current objective measures and questionnaires.

Cognitive/Admissions Testing |
Brief, focused cognitive (intelligence) assessment may be helpful for a variety of purposes including admission to private/independent schools, entrance into highly capable programs, appeals for highly capable programs, or early entrance to kindergarten. As schools vary in their requirements for these purposes, in some cases academic or additional assessments being required, each evaluation is tailored to your needs.

Comprehensive Evaluations |
For individuals six years and older a comprehensive evaluation can identify underlying contributions to an individual's strengths and challenges, determine diagnosis, and provide detailed recommendations for individual intervention, and home, school, and community support. Evaluations are tailored based on the needs of the individual and typically include measures of cognitive ability, academic achievement, neuropsychological processes, and social/emotional/behavioral assessments.

Psychoeducational Evaluations |
When greater focus on academic functioning is required for individuals six years and older, a psychoeducational evaluation can identify learning and attention disorders and provide detailed recommendations specifically tailored to the individual's needs. Goals of psychoeducational testing include:
